In 1999, PSALM students wrote to Senator Leahy about the issue of landmines and he kindly responded.&nbsp; In 2000, members of PSALM met Senaor Leahy in Washington at an&nbsp;International Campaign to Ban Landmines&nbsp;event on Capitol Hill.
