The International Day of Peace: September 21

The International Day of Peace is a is a global effort that seeks: “To encourage the observation of a worldwide cease-fire, 24-hour vigil for peace and nonviolence on the 21st September in every house of worship and place of spiritual practice, by all religious and spiritually based groups and individuals, and by all men, women and children who seek peace in the world.”

We celebrate Peace Day as a global cease fire and a day of faith, love and hope for a more peaceful world! We hope all will take this opportunity to make peace in your own relationships as well as impact the larger conflicts of our time.  The International Day of Peace is not only about creating peace between nations, it’s about non-violence in our homes, communities and schools. Members of WVCBL are dedicated to abolishing landmines and cluster munitions as a part of their work for peace. What will YOU do for PEACE TODAY?

WE CAN STOP LANDMINES AND CLUSTER BOMBS! PSALM
